Please attend on February 26th a symposium and launch for three brilliant and rising young scholars in the field: Ashley Cohen (USC), Sal Nicolazzo (UCSD), and Abigail Zitin (Rutgers). Their books are on, respectively, empire and the two indies, literature and the police, and beauty and the aesthetics of technique. Each has just been published in the Walpole series on Eighteenth-Century Culture and History I co-edit with Steve Pincus for Yale University Press.
