ASECS Membership Information

All members of ASECS receive a one-year subscription to the quarterly journal, Eighteenth-Century Studies, as well as other membership benefits. Individual memberships are available in several categories; institutional memberships are also available.

Membership Rates

Income below $50,000 - US$ 50.00

Income below $50,000 with SECC added - US$ 85.00

Income between $50,000 and $100,000 - US$ 90.00

Income between $50,000 and $100,000 with SECC added - US$ 125.00

Income above $100,000 - US$ 125.00

Income above $100,000 with SECC added - US$ 160.00

Emeriti - US$ 50.00

Emeriti with SECC added - US$ 85.00

Student - US$ 40.00

Student with SECC added - US$ 75.00

Patron (includes SECC) - US$ 200.00

Joint Membership (Primary member must join before joint member) - US$ 35.00

Institutional Membership - US$ 200.00

Lifetime Member (includes SECC) - US$ 500.00

Lifetime Patron Member (includes SECC) - US$ 3000.00

Change of Address

Visit https://asecs.press.jhu.edu/membership/join and log in to your account. Select the profile tab, and then select and edit the address to which your journal is delivered—this is your shipping address.( Frequently, it is the first or only address you entered into your profile.)

Create Login and Password

You set up your account when you purchase your membership. Once you select your membership category, click “add to cart.” You will be taken to the cart page which displays your selection. Click on “check out.” Now you are on the “log in” screen. Click on “Not a member? Register here” to be taken to the registration screen. Here you will enter required information, and create your username and password. Click on “Register.” Please save your username and password—you will need it to log in to renew your membership or edit your profile online in the future. Next, follow the step-by-step instructions to check out and place your order.
