ASECS 2023 Call for Submissions; and Town Hall and Fellowship Application Reminders

We are pleased to share that the Call for Session Proposals for the. ASECS 2023 Annual Meeting in St. Louis is NOW OPEN. For all the details, see here: https://www.asecs.org/2023-call-for-session-proposals. The deadline for submitting proposals is Thursday May 26, 2022.


We also want to remind you that next Wednesday, May 11, at 5pmET, ASECS is hosting a ZOOM Town Hall to discuss the ASECS Membership and Engagement Report. Register here (https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0uc-itpjwoHNbTWd0nPR5g5qO8WxOqfsDD) to receive the Zoom link. The report itself is available on the ASECS website (https://www.asecs.org/governance), or directly via this link (https://www.asecs.org/_files/ugd/acf0d2_61f29a018d80435eb380e7fcbf7ea187.pdf).

Finally, applications are being accepted through May 31, for the Gale-ASECS Non-Residential fellowships. Each of the five (5) $2,500 awards will support one-month of full-time work on a research or teaching project that makes extensive use of Gale’s Digital Scholar Lab and Eighteenth-Century Collections Online (ECCO).
