N.B., in no particular order: most of the following societies include one or more student representatives or members-at-large on their boards (consult websites for details); many of the opportunities below require applicants to join the relevant society, either at the time of application or the time of award receipt; lastly, in some cases, certain kinds of awards are on hiatus for the year due to the pandemic.
