Gale and ASECS seek applications for 5 Gale-ASECS Non-Residential Fellowships, which will support research or teaching projects that rely on Gale’s Eighteenth-Century Collections Online

Proposals from any subfield within eighteenth-century studies are welcome, but applicants must make clear how they will use digital methods and the ECCO corpus to further their research and teaching.

Each fellowship of $2,500 will support the equivalent of one-month’s full-time work (160 hours). Fellowships will be awarded by July 1, 2022. Fellowships must be completed by January 31, 2023. Awardees may dedicate four consecutive weeks of their full working hours to the fellowship project, or they may spread their work out over a longer period.
