Please join us for our SECFS conversations online series showcasing recent books about eighteenth-century France.

At our fourth meeting on Friday, June 4 at 3pm EST, Laurence Marie of Columbia University will present her book — Inventer l'acteur. Émotions et spectacle dans l'Europe des Lumières, Paris, Sorbonne Université Presses, 2019 — in conversation with Hélène Bilis of Wellesley College. After their conversation, there will be time for further questions from the audience.
