Graduate Student Research Essay Prize

To support the pioneering research contributions of the next generation of scholars of eighteenth-century studies, this prize recognizes an outstanding research essay of 15-30 pages that has not been previously published.

​

The award will be presented at the Annual Meeting and the winner will receive $200.

​

In order to be eligible for this award, applicants must be Graduate Student members of ASECS at the time of submission. To submit an essay for consideration:

1) Upload a copy of the essay in Word or .pdf format, to asecsoffice@gmail.com. 

2) A letter of endorsement from a mentoring professor that outlines the original contributions that the essay makes to the field of eighteenth-century studies, should be sent to the committee chair.

 

All materials must be received by January 1, 2023
